Directions

By car
Most of our guests arrive by car.  Shuna is easy to find and there is plenty of room to park on our forecourt. 

• From Junction 27 of the M5, take the A361 to Barnstaple. 
• From Barnstaple, follow the A361 to Braunton and Ilfracombe. 
• At the traffic lights in the centre of Braunton, turn left on the B3231 to Croyde. 
• On entering Croyde, you will find Shuna approximately 200 metres along on the right hand side.

By train
First Great Western runs an hourly service from Exeter to our nearest station, Barnstaple.   The journey takes about 70 minutes and runs along the picturesque Tarka Line.  You can check train times here.

Taxis are available at Barnstaple station.  The trip to Shuna will take about 20 minutes, depending on the time of day and traffic conditions, and should cost £25-28.  Book a taxi in advance with a local company, as taxis at the station may charge you much more.

By bus
Stagecoach Route 308 runs a half-hourly service from Barnstaple, via Braunton.  The journey takes about 35 minutes, and the bus stops almost outside Shuna.  You can check the timetable here.

By foot
We are three minutes’ walk from the South West Coast Path.
